Granted the short silk kimono didn't cover up much, but at least it wasn't transparent. Back in the kitchen she quickly prepared a couple of stiff drinks before rejoining Pete in the sunroom. "Of course if you tell your grandparents I liquored you up while you were here I will categorically deny it." She informed him playfully as she handed him his glass.
"Cookies and milk all the way." Pete promised, crossing his heart before taking a sip from the glass in his hand. "And after getting a glimpse of your cookies I really need this glass of milk."
